AUDI R8 GT3

First time, AUDI Sport will offer a racer car developed for competitors use in the form of the strong 500 horse power and GT 3 version of the  Audi R8 which will be available from autumn 2009.

The Audi R8 is the first successful racing sports car. With the Audi R8 we will offer customers a racing car including the high-calibre technology and the okward Audi qualities.

Due to the GT3 regulations prohibit the use of four-wheel drive and the Audi R8 comes with the typical GT rear wheel drive. The power transmission is through a newly developed six-speed sports gearbox. A list of safety equipment guarantees the maximum level of safety.
